Review by hotel critic
Nestled along the ocean, Royal Orchid offers a culinary experience that pays homage to the treasures of its surroundings. I had the pleasure of celebrating my sister's birthday there, and the hotel staff truly rose to the occasion by arranging a delightful cake that surpassed our expectations. From our spacious room, I was able to soak in stunning views of the sea, providing a serene escape from daily life. The décor, with a dark-wood bar and avocado green upholstered stools, added a touch of elegance to the ambiance of the restaurant, making it a comfortable place to gather. Breakfast featured freshly prepared options, although I found the menu predictably similar each day. Still, the proximity to Canico's vibrant eateries, such as Restaurante A Rede and the charming Lee Hamilton Steak House, offers plenty for adventurous food lovers like myself. This hotel has certainly piqued my appetite for culinary exploration in the region.
